BIG POND RUMOURS (Literary E-zine)

Welcome to an E-Zine that reads and considers all submissions!  We have no preference for any ‘genre’ (kind, category or sort of writing) so don’t hesitate to submit your writing to us.

Address your submission to editor @ big-pond-rumours .com   Our main stipulation is that all work must be previously unpublished. However, we assume only first international publication rights. You can expect a response in 6 to 8 weeks.

Please include the following, based on the type of submission you are making:

For Poetry: 3 to 6 pieces of poetry, single spaced, name in upper right corner of each page

For Short Fiction: between 200 and 5,000 words, double spaced, name in upper right corner of each page

For Reviews, Essays, etc. Please send us your 600 and 1200 word review with book cover image and photo of the author

For Contributor Notes: a head shot of yourself, and a c.v. for our contributor notes.

While discussing Big Pond Rumours, it cannot be forgotten that we are both a free E-Zine and a micro press producing four chapbooks a year. We hold a Chapbook Contest in January/February of each year with winners announced in March. Watch for announcements.

On a business note, Big Pond Rumours is expanding its roster. We are pleased to announce that Brian Purdy has agreed to resume his former role as Fiction Editor for the E-Zine. In addition, we are currently seeking a Publicist for the E-Zine and Press. Interested parties should email editor @ big-pond-rumours .com
